This splendid cinema is housed in a prominent national monument. It looks modern, with a touch of history. The focus of this cinema is unusual arthouse films from less well-known countries. To keep up with the modern trends, the building underwent a radical renovation. It currently has 3 theatres, a multifunctional hall, a meeting room, restaurant, bar and courtyard. Cinecitta is also a meeting place. There are sometimes special events: combinations of films with lectures, music, lunch/dinner or a quiz. And a film club has just been launched. It is also the home for cultural initiatives like Filmsalon de Ontmoeting and the Cultureel Café.
